Biography

Mallory E. Garvin focuses her practice on public education law, special education law and litigation. She brings a broad range of legal experience to the firm, complemented by her extensive background in public education.

Before beginning her legal career, Mallory taught social studies at Wood-Ridge Junior–Senior High School for 14½ years. In 2019, she enrolled in the part-time program at Seton Hall University School of Law, continuing to teach full-time while attending classes on weekends.

After earning her law degree, Mallory worked at the Office of the Bergen County Prosecutor, serving first as a legal assistant and then as an Assistant Prosecutor. Prior to joining the Firm, she practiced at a law firm where she gained experience in a variety of areas, including representing boards of education and public entities, assisting physicians before the Board of Medical Examiners, and handling labor and employment matters as well as OPRA requests.
